This full day excursion to the Ubud area will leave you with some great new memories. You will get to experience the daily life of the traditional Ubud community. We invite you to explore this place as we immerse ourselves into the culture and become part of this community. The first stop will be at the Art Village where wood carving and silver crafting is done. Afterwards we will stop at the Alas Arum swing overlooking the river and rice terraces to make some more unforgetable memories and take some nice pictures. Our next destination will be the Tegalalang rice terrace which you are free to explore. Last stop before lunch will be the Sebatu Holy Water Spring. The beautiful and attractive Sebatu Temple exudes uniqueness cand has become a spiritual tourist destination.
We will then rest at a restaurant near the area for lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit the Ubud Traditional Market at the center of Ubud. Afterwards we stop at the Ubud Royal Palace, Puri Saren Agung, which was the official residence of the royal family of Ubud.
Our last stop for the day will be Bali Aga village where some of the families still live traditionally. They stay in houses where the walls are made from dirt and the roof is made from grass. They use kicthen equipment made from coconut shells and use wood for cooking. Animals still live in the house here. This is actualy how I grew up in my own family house in my village.
